Established in 2008 by Tim Vest and Craig Zimmerman as a spinoff company of C3 Communication and Construction Corporation. This veteran-owned business is fast becoming the leader in utility locating and the technology associated with it.
Our Management Team
Tim Vest (President) – Tim started out in the communications industry in 1997 as a utility locator working in the Hampton Roads Market. He then worked in Richmond doing locating and construction for Media One. He and a partner formed Dominion Cable and soon became vice – president of Dominion Cable in 2000. After selling his ownership in Dominion Cable in 2005, he started and partnered with Craig Zimmerman to form C3 Communication Construction Corporation.
Craig Zimmerman (Vice President) - After serving 4 years in the United States Marine Corps, Craig joined the communications industry in 1997 as a subsurface utility locator and then manager of Miss Utility ticket locates for Cox Communications in Virginia. In 2001 Craig ventured into underground construction, also for Cox Communication and in 2005 co-partnered with Tim Vest to form C3 Communication Construction Corporation.
Brad Fitzpatrick (Utility Locating Manager) - In 2001, Brad came into the communications industry as a subsurface utility locator and then Locate Manager for private utility locates and the Cox Communications in Hampton Roads, VA. In 2006, Brad came to C-3 as Locate Manager, receiving certificates from Staking University, Midwest Energy Association, and the Virginia State Corporation Commission through their Train the Trainer program.
Craig Canady (Technology Manager) - Craig started in the information Technology industry in 1989 as a systems administrator for the Hampton Sheriff’s Office. In 1994 Craig opened (3) Peninsula Computers Inc. locations in the Hampton Roads area. In 1997 Craig formed Comnet Inc. specializing in data networking and administration. In 2002 Comnet Inc. joined force with Commonwealth Technology Group, Inc providing technology for the underground industry. In 2008 Craig joined with C3 Corporation to provide technology and sales support.
